has anyone ever done a reverse wish bone. if not what would the reason be. i know what u guys are goin 2 say reverse links suck but im just curious because u see alot of reverse 4 links but never seen a reverse wish bone
a wishbone does basically the same thing as two upper triangulated bars ..so it dosent work in reverse for the same reasons a 4link dosent
I found a slideshow I love.
i would love to know why a reverse 4 link OR reverse wishbone doesnt work? ive done plenty of them and no problems. so wats the deal?
thats what i have on my truck now a reverse 4 link and ive never had any problems with it and was thinkin of doin a reverse wish bone because ive never seen one. does anyone have a pic of one. oh im glad everyone likes the signature seems evry time i post somthin people say more about that than the topic but thats not a bad thing i dont guess
Yes the sig is great... Don't know the asnwer to your question tho...
Well i think the problem with reverse setups.. be it wishbone or 4 link is that when you go through the suspension cycle the arc is pulling the axle backward away from the transmission at full lift and laid out. if you have a lot of lift that could pull out the driveshaft. Just my speculation on things. I love cheerios now.LOL
