is Line-x Brand sprayin bedliner nonresponsive to gasoline? like they show how battery acid wont do anything to it? would it withstand gas? say if it were to be used in a fuel cell? i was just wondering if that was even possible.

the only way in would be safe IN a fuel cell is if they could completely seal up the entire inside of it...which is impossible....gas will not tear down the physical properties of Line-X but if it can get under an edge (not completely sealed) then it will eventually cause the LineX to lift off of what its sprayed on....I worked for LineX for 8 yrs and sprayed many a diesel tank w/ it and if there was the tiniest little gap where the diesel could get under it, it would peel...good luck

are you looking to seal your gas tank? por 15 makes a gas tank sealing kit...
Use the por 15. Works great. Sealed my fuel cell and I haven't seen any signs of it peeling or any signs of rust. I paid $65 for the kit to seal a 27 gallon fuel cell and the stuff to prepare the surface. Definately worth it. Just don't get it on you cause it has to wear off and that takes a while.
well thats all i was wondering if it would peel up or not. jerry abercrombie, where did you find the complete kit for that price? was it eastwood or por15's website?
call ur local paint supply store, they should be able to get any por 15 stuff. 65 is what we paid at work last time we did a motor cylce tank.
