I have a viper alarm system and I'm guessing this is the valet switch but what is the button underneath the switch?

i think it turns the alarm off when your in the truck maybe? I have one on mine and have never used it. I don't know exactly! PRESS IT!!! Lets find out!

It's the programming button. You hold that down for a designated time and use your remote to adjust functions. It is also used if you get a new remote - to reprogram it.

RESET MAYBE?!?!? Like to turn the alarm off if all else fails?

Ok, then that would explain why my remote doesn't open my passenger door now oh well....

ok, lets try this again I believe my alarm is a viper 790. it has the remote start with the white lcd remote. anyway, it started working again though. My remote is acting up on me though. I will arm the truck but it beeps like its out of range. Battery still good but I will try replacing it anyway see if that cures it.
