What si this? I have seen something like this used as a relay for compressors and shit. What is it, and where do I get one, and how do I wire it. I got this picture from AIM, but I ain't ordering shit from them...
Parts store sells them. It is a big relay basicly. Or Starter Soleniod....
Most are made for momentary use, but are used on air compressors or other shit.
One of the big post will be wired to the positive side of your battery and the other big post will go to the positive side of your compressor. Add 12V + to the small post and the compressor will come on. Later.
and run the small one from a switched source from fuse box through my pressure switch right?
any specific vehicle I need to look for one for?
just seen one the other day '79 bronco or ask them for a cheap one off any vehicle. They pulled on just like that for my bronco........ Yea you got the idea right for wiring... Swiched and fused and thru pressure switch...
look for old ford cars or trucks 70 ish shoud have one
This is what i got. It's a stinger 100 amp, and I can't figure it out for the life of me. I have tried every way to wire it, and I can't get it right. I had it wired in a D-50, then try to put it in my maz, and can't get it right. So if any of you can point me in the right direction with this, that would help also..
Works the same way....
I have one but it is the 80 amp
ok, but there are two small pins, what goes to them?
should just need one positive. ground on the other. on the small pins.
battery on one big one and what ever the positive is going to on the other big post.
