302 & SFBD, can I keep it under the hood

OK, since my Ranger has FINALLY been retired from daily driving I am planning out everything I want to do. I am planning on going with a carb 302 and want to know if its gonna fit under a stock or EDGE hood?

I've seen it done before, so I'm sure it's possible, lol.

Depends on size of bodydrop, to rockers yes, to doors no.

Anything can be done, and I'm sure you'll have no issues wth keeping it under the hood. if your gonna make your own engine mounts you'll be able to position the engine anywhere.

3inches to the rockers, we kept gumps hood under a stock gen III hood. he ahs the 4.0. it should fit even w/ an edge hood.

My B2 is to the door and the 302 is still under the stock hood. New motor mounts used...

i second KLEERANCE on that.. it can be done
