Drove a 1999 bagged Dakota for awhile, good driving truck, reliable, but it had been babied since bought new. Very, very solid...liked to drink gas though-and it was the V6.

the 24 valve cummins is a bad ass mofo when dialed in. i had a 97 dually with that engine, and it was very strong. the only problem i had with mine was the frame flexed a lot at the steering box. there is an aftermarket kit to solve it, but i sold it before i got one. later, brian
