'03 s-10/s-10 blazer electrical problems?

im having some electrical problems, and was wondering if its common in the newer s-10/ s-10 blazers? the problem is that i've already replaced my altinator once, my truck only has 30k on it, but today i was listening to my ipod while it was charging through the cigarette lighter and i could hear the whinning noise through my headphones, by the way i dont have a system or radio in it, any ideas?

would the whining noise get louder if you revved the motor up? if so ...possibly a faulty wiring in the charger for your i pod or headphones or a simple noise filter that sometimes needs to be put on from engine freq. through radios....stero shop or best buy some place like that would know which one you need....

yea it would get louder, but it would do that when i had my sytem in it too the first time my altenator wentout, but the noise filter, im gonna check into that, thanks for you input man!

any body else have any other ideas?
