What amp to use?

I have 4 four 12" Street Edge subs (low-end Memphis) and they are 8ohm each, and 200watts MAX power... What amp should I run? I dont want to pay alot for an amp either, nothing over $500....
I was told i could push these subs alot harder than 200watts if its "CLEAN" power, anyone have any input on all of this? im kind of new to stereo's
