You could make those for like $10, including Grade 8 bolts. Not grade 2 like those are. That shit would shear the first time you laid it out.

Thats basically solid steel welded to some angle iron with 2 holes, probably take 15 minutes to make.

I may be wrong, but I don't think you can weld titanium to steel. Plus, Titanium is bloody expensive!

Now, my old neighbor was an oldschool lowrider. He had a 40s Pontiac that was pretty sick. He had a lto of juiced rides when he was younger, and he was telling me how they used to make their own drag blocks. He said they'd got some 2x2 solid stock, and use a torch to get it red hot, then grab it with tongs or channel locks and drench it in gear oil. He said that the heat made ths teel absord the oil. Then when you drag, it apparently throws really colorful sparks. I don't know if its true, but I've always wanted to try it out.

I'd probably make all the bracketry and weld it to the blocks first. If the steel does actually absorb any oil, it probably wouldn't weld very well afterwards.

I got one set from them they worked good for me lasted a long time

ya we made a steel drag bar that went from one side of the frame to the other,lasted me a longass time and i drag everyday for miles where i live.
