ok guys i have two 15inch L7s from kicker in the back of a focus. Every time the bass hits my lights dim. I know i have to replace something but should i get a bigger cap, bigger alt, or a battery with more cold cranking amps?

Bigger cap should help you also. might look into running a second battery in the trunk also. I had a kinetics (or something like that) and was pleased

how easy is it to wire up a battery and how do you do it? do you just wire it up to the running now?

Yeah you'll want to put a cut off switch in there though so that you can cut off your main battery at shows and still leave your dry cell on. Also a good idea to have that if you store your car over the winters

how much am i lookin at here. i mean a cap cost about 100-200 dollars how much does a good kinetik battery cost. and what do i do with the fuse box do i straight wire it to the new battery or do i take out the fuse box on the old battery and wire it to the kinetik battery.

Cap i useless unless you have enough power to charge it to begin with. The best thing to do is to get a higher amperage alt. Upgrade the wiring goin from the battery to the alt. As well as your grounds. You can also add another battery if you wish. The best way to do it is with an isolater. Keeps everything in check

really however u want man. my kinetik battery really was decently priced

yeah battery was like $150 although i think that was dealer cost
