basically you just need to give good head and you can get into any mag
j/k, just build the truck for yourself, and hit the shows, but understand that its the editors job to pick the best of the best to get in the mag, detailing half your ride probaly won't get u featured. I just build my truck to my taste, and have a good time at the shows

Thats what I thought. I had so much more fun building my truck, than cleaning everything. Lol.

If, lol. Good point. I'll finish it someday. I don't like to leave projects unfinished. I still don't see my truck being magazine quality, for a number of reasons. But I'm not building it for magazines anyway, I'm just buildign what I want.

I also think it is about the quality of the rides.
However, I haven't heard anyone but Chicken mention that a lot of show coverage is handled by Freelancers. If a few freelancers shoot different shows over a month of two, and the same trucks happen to be at all those shows, it makes sense that they might get shot multiple times...in the show coverage.
Just one more thing to keep in mind.

This thread is reDONKulous. First off, the coverage this past year has been coverage from the States to Japan and perhaps places in between. I thought the coverage this past year has been more diverse then ever and pretty sweet by recognizing the fact that the Mini Truckin society is more global then anyone would have thought. 2ndly, if your referring to some of the vehicles that have appeared a couple times in the magazine coverage....take a second and really look at what is done to those trucks. Think about how much time and work has gone into those trucks. Theyre the best at the shows, they deserve the coverage they get and probably even more. Thirdly, what a slap in the face to the staff at Mini Truckin' or other magazines your referring too, these guys spend so much time trying to improve and put out a product as best as they see fit, probably not enjoying the scene as much as they should not to mention putting off their own mini truck projects just to provide the community a quality magazine. And if your still not satisfied, then go to your garage and raise the bar for the quality of a mini truck for 2007. Maybe then you could get into a magazine.
Really well put man...

I don't give a shit if i bring home a 2 dollar plastic trophy or get featured i want my truck built how i like, looking how i want it to when im cruising it around, if it gets featured, badass i'd love to see it in a mag, but i dont revolve the whole build and look to please a camera.
