irs with a sbc 350?

i was wondering if anyone has ever done an irs with a sbc 350? im curious as to what rearend would work best with it gear ratio wise.

I am running an rx-7 Rear with a 350 SBC . 3.90 gears make it scream on the streets but highway i do not like to drive with it

yeah thats what i was afraid of hearing, the highway driving. and im glad you said rx-7 because that was one of the rearends i was thinkin of going with originally.

corvette IRS works really well my buddy has one but kinda pricey

corvette irs has its flaws, mainly with binding when lifting.

If you have the Cash you can always get a Custom set of Gears made which is what i am doing down the road .

i have a rx 7 rearend i need to get rid of. let it go for like 300 obo it is taking up space in my storage room...

what about a supra rear?

what is the price range to get a custom set of gears made? and who can do it?

anyone got info on a supra rear. do they use halfshafts or driveshafts? do they bind up when lifting? whats the gear ratio?
