Is there a way to change get rid of the fuel injection system and replace it with a carb? I kinda want to get rid of the computer so I can simplify the wiring in the truck. Also which is better fuel injection or carb?

I'm sure you can I have done it to my nissan and my toyota in both cases I had to change the distributor and add a fuel regulator to eliminate all the wiring, computer and emissions.since your in orlando you can call raycar over on east colonial near 436.they are mainly a volkswagon shop but they also are a weber carb dealer. ask for ray tell him carl from hardcore sent you 407-823-8000.

yeah what he said, then you can park it in your back yard for half a decade and not drive it! because all the really cool mini trucks are still being worked on...

what engine is it? i bought an injected g200 for my pup, and i put the stock carbed intake on it with a weber. runs like it should.

anyways, if its a 2.6 youll need to find a carbed intake from a 2.3 and then run a fat 32/36, or a 38/38. im not sure if youll have to do anything to the distributor though.
