Hey guys, I have a '97 GMC Dually with a 6/8 DJM Drop. It currently has 225/75/16 tires on the front and it's rubbing the inner fender when turning and hitting a bump (I have not rolled the fender lip). I'd like to go with a 225/70/16, but can't seem to find a tire with the right load rating... Hell, discount tire won't even install a tire of that size for me...

What in the hell do you guys do for tires up front? This truck tows a 28' trailer regularly, so I think load rating is important...

Tell them to stop acting like a bunch of rope smoking queens.

Other than that, I've got no real advice to offer. Hell, I don't even have a dually yet. I suck at dually ownership.

Sweet rig by the way.

Mine rub too....my solution is I am bagging mine. You could get you some fender flare and mount them on the front and trim out your fender behind the flare.....kind of ghetto, but might be only alternative to running a static drop that low.

pretty much. I order my tires from a wholeseller and if they ask, they are going on a 1/2 ton. Then when the come in, i carry them to my local tire place and mount them myself. Have you looked at a 215/70/16? I had those with my 19s. I think 225/75/16 is the smallest D E rated tire.
