Can anyone tell me how to properly adjust the float on a weber 32/36 carb on my Mitsu 2.0? I have done it on dirt bikes but don't exactly know how to do it for this carb. And also does anyone know the setting for what the floats supposed to be at? Thanks

you can just bend it by hand, is it electric choke?

yes it is electric choke. and I know you can bend it by hand, thats not my question, you ca't just bend and set the choke in a certain position, there is certain measurements and set way it has to be in relation to how the tab is bent

you need to pull the carb cover off, so you can get to the float assembly. from the mounting surface to the bottom of the float when closed it needs to measure 1.437 inches non electric choke or 1.535 inches for electric choke. and the stroke of the float needs ajusted too, for the non electric choke is should only move .394 down, and the electric choke should move .433 down. there is a tab you can bend to stop it from moving further.

the bottom of the part the floats are hooked to. they call it the carb cover assembly. does that help?
