i have an 88 s-10 x-cab im fixing to bag.i know SD sells a carrier cross member for 2nd gen s-10.My question is does my 88 need to carry one?

JUST RAISE THE OE CARRIER XMEMBER, LITTLE METAL WORK NEEDED MAYBE BUT JUST LIKE BLAZINS10 SAID SHIM IT UP...

Just as everyone else said, we just shimmed it up on my friends truck and no problems afterwards.
