ranger owners i need help

i have the scanner that plugs under the hood and has the flashing light it worked on a 1990 mustang i used 2 have so maybe it will work and im fixin 2 go test it

Mine used to do the same thing, but it was the O2 sensors. It's either that or the Mass Air Flow..

just scanned it and scanner says egr valve is not opening or is not seated properly guess ill call and get a price 4 1
