I have been a minitrucker for 7 years and have never joined a club. I am petitioning for ST in the Irvine/Glendora Chapter but I think they want me to at least paint my truck and Im not even close to getting it to paint cause im re-doing all of my suspesion and maybe going juice/painting/powdercoating/new motor painted.. Im not in a hurry to join a club. If they want me in then I would do it.

Yo yo yo yo yo ya..... Its not the Club your in its the friends you have in the scene... I am in //Negative Camber\\ and love all by brothers... But Dont just go out on a lim and want to join a club with not knowing them. Most big name clubs expect you to hang out for a few years befor you get in....

WELL SAID...IT TOOK ME SOMETHING LIKE 2 YEARS TO GET INTO TEXAS...MOST OF US HAVE KNOWN EACH OTHER FOR A LONG TIME FROM SHOWS NOT ONLY AROUND HERE BUT FROM TRAVELING LOND DISTANCES TO SHOWS...AS FAR AS GETTING AHOLD OF SCOTT IN DALLAS, IT MIGHT BE A WHILE HES A BUSY GUY...AND I'M PRETTY SURE THAT WE ARE HOLDING OFF FOR ANY NEW MEMBERS TILL AFTER TEXMEX 07...WE MOSTLY ONLY TAKE ON NEW MEMBERS AND PROSPECTS DURING THE SHOW SEASON..SO IF YOU WANT IN OUR CLUB CHAPTER.. GO TO SHOWS GET NOTICED, TALK TO PEOPLE AND GET TO KNOW THEM..LET THEM GET TO KNOW YOU AND SEE IF THEY INVITE YOU TO A MEETING. THATS THE WAY WE DO THINGS IN TEXAS FOR THE MOST PART!

See here in Aus there are about four ST members... and I've heard a lot of talk about it...

One guy was in a Aussie club for like 3 years [PLEASE NOTE NOT MY CLUB] and the club busted there arse to help him build and BD his truck - then having seen his truck one day ST hit's him up to join there club...

He go's hell yeh American club and joins

To me thats not cause his mates with anyone from ST - it's just cause of the club name and thats massive disrespect to his former club... especailly seeing they worked so hard on his ride...

Over here in Australia it seems to be real cool to join an American club that they don't even know anyone from... Although it's only really happened with ST and NR...

I will say the NC guys in Australia have all got fairly strong friendships with the yank guys so there comments don't really apply to them...

Hate on me if ya want - I'm just saying what I've heard... and what I see...

I dont hate you, but you dont have your facts straight, I dont speak for ST but i do speak for . NOBODY JUST WALKS INTO NR...NOBODY. EVERYBODY GETS IT THE SAME WAY. THEY PETITION. Those guys in Australia are petitioning for the club like any american, japanese guy or whatever nationality they.

In order for clubs to grow people do have to seek out clubs. If not their would be 600 different clubs with four members, and yeah thats cool too, but until you've been part of a nationwide club then you dont know what your missing. I love going out of town and having family everywhere i go.

Next time you want to talk about my club do me a favor and ask me about it first, and ill give you the facts. Those aussie boys are working for their chapter, and when and if they get it, it will only be cause they deserve it.

I don't think he was at all trying to rub your name in the dirt. I think he was saying that he sees a trend in his country for people to want to abandon their local clubs with the people they know real well for the big name american clubs. That is a decision that the person has to make but it isn't the clubs fault for have a club that is popular enough for people to want to join. So maybe you need to reread what he said and you will see that he wasn't saying that they are just getting logod without paying their dues. On the club side I am sure you are requireing the same from them as you would from me, which is the way it should be.
