ok my 2.2 in my 95 dime took a dump and I can get my hands on a 4.3 for cheaper than another 4 banger.. is it a pretty easy swap or more trouble than its worth? thanks guys
motor mounts, just make sure you get the ecm and wireing harness. you can find tons of info on the swap.
yep...new motor mounts, ecm, and wiring...although alot of the wiring is the same in both harnesses....new radiator also...its not that hard of a swap at all...
the last time I asked everyone told me it was a pain in the ass
can you use the 5 spd tranny from a truck with a 2.2 when upgrading to a 4.3?
also ,, i'm not sure if the fuel pumps are the same ? Dont really see why it would matter but i will look tomorrow at work

im pretty sure u cant...i might be wrong tho....but the 5spd xmember will work w/ the automatic 4L60E tranny w/ just a little trimming
the fuel pumps are not the same....the 4 cyl takes 45-55 psi and the V6 takes 57-62psi if i remember right

do you know what 5 spd was used in the 4.3 5spd stock s-10s?
I would look it up in my 1998 GM S/T truck service manuals but i only have volume's 1 and 2 , volume 3 has tranny/engine info
