I have the FBI ones and we had to make our own buckets. I also have the TAC module but my turn signals don't work, but I am sure that is because of me. I HATE FUCKIN' ELECTICAL! Anyways, I have had them for about 2 years and have not had any problems. Nice and bright too..

i just saw on their site that they now offer the sandable ones. that's cool...they used to advertize the other 2 as "flush" when it should've said "frenched" i have the TAC's on my toy & they work fine. it took about a half dozen calls of "try this" or "try that" but they work now & their staff were extremely helpful.

Corey, did you have to run inline resistors for your turn signals to work? I try to use mine, pretty sure I hooked it up right, and for some reason one of them doesn't work and the one that turns on, just makes a loud buzzing sound and stays on constantly. When I turn the blinker off, the light goes out but when the blinker is on is when it stays on. I have talked to a couple of people and they say it may not be giving enough resistance but when it comes to electrical, I'm an idiot! Thanks!

The true flush LEDs are a newer product, so a lot of you guys are talking about the older styles. We're still carrying the old 10" and 13" styles, but these new flush LEDs are really cool! They come with the lens and bucket assembly separate, and include the steel template pieces to make installation easier. Here's a link:

http://www.fbirides.com/shopping_department.asp?cat_idno=258356

The lenses are available in either clear or red. We only have one size for now, but we've got more in the works.

As for the TAC units, they can be made to work on anything, but some trucks give more headaches than others! LEDs draw so little current that some vehicles will think there's a bulb out, causing your blinker to go supersonic or not blink at all! The easiest fix for this is to change out your flashers for a solid state model- 5 bucks at your local Pep Boys or Napa. More involved fixes include adding a resistor or hiding a bulb somewhere else in line- not the wrong way to go, but you gotta make sure the resistor isn't somewhere where it will burn a wire or cause other damage- they get hot!

Hope that clears things up for you guys!

steve, is yours on a toy p/u? if it is, hook it pu the same way fbi's website says. don't use the red wires on the truck's harness (those are the reverse lights) & you have to hook up ALL the ground wires. i think it was 3 on the left & 4 on the right (i could be wrong, but there's a lot of them). they ALL have to be wired into the black wire on the tacs. that was my problem the whole time. i tried running them to chassis gnd; the units to gnd; etc. gave me a headache for a while but all's good now. the flashers blink fast, but they work & i'm OK with it.
good luck

Thanks Corey... I know I don't have all of my ground wires hooked up so I am sure that is it. Thanks again!
And also, Thanks for the help Phil from FBI! Either way hopefully the lights work.
