stinky

So i just got me another mazda and it has a weber carb and a header. Runs great but stinks like exhaust pretty bad... is this because it has no converter? I gotta figure out something cause i can't go stinking! Please help!

i've never noticed this on the truck i used to have. the old truck i think still had the cat though... don't remember for sure. my new truck has a good exhaust system so i'm not worried about it...
