whats the best program to get for a beginner just to mess around with for photoshopping i dont wanna get into doing full blown renderings i just wanna be able to add some things here and take some things out there

yeah i figured that but which one tho theres like 9 of em i didnt know if there was a good basic one to start out on

there isnt really a basic one but if you'd have to pic one...then ps7 is one most start out with.

there's actually only one photoshop program, just several versions with cool new toys. So finding photoshop 3 isnt' going to do you a damn bit of good, not only is it going to be hard to find but it won't run efficiently. they made that program back when 100 Mhz processors and 32megs of ram were the top of the line, therefor the software was built around those systems and wouldn't do ya much good on todays computer. just try to get ahold of any version higher then 7 and you'll be set to go man.....
