My AZ works great, i havent had any problems yet, and its on my daily driver, but i did have two Viair 380s on my car, they were good but slow, so when after about two years one of my 380s crapped on me, i got an AZ, my one AZ is faster than both of my 380s were
if they were slow you had voltage problems mine fill my 6 gallon tank in 4 mins from zero and from a 100psi to 160 in 1min 10 secs

So send them back if this indeed happened. At least AZ stands behind their product no questions asked. Remember how hard it was to get the 450's replaced? ViAir had to go through it and make sure it wasnt your fault.
ViAir and AZ are both good compressors. AZ's will only get better, ViAir had problems at first and everyone hated em, now its AZ's turn to get hated on till they fix their problems. I have neither compressor, but have installed both, many of times now for various people. I am still running thomas 304's on my nissan and EDC on my s10, so i'm unbiased.
Why dont more people just a engine driven pump? The one in my truck has been there for years and still fills the tank damn fast. It's cheap too, just some old AC compressor found in a junk yard.
Where are AZ compressors made? US? China (more likely)? Just curious.
my 2 lasted 8 months then both quit within 2 days of each other.
AZ compressors are junk dont care what anyone says,i had two and the both went, yeh they got me new ones but i sold them and got 380's and i got 2 480s 4 my truck .viair tried and true y get something else.
tried n true huh? my thomas 4101 is STILL pumping along after 4 years w/ out ever having a rebuild( it has had a check valve and water trap on it all its life) and its seen over 350 psi.
I just got one off the AZ website few days just got it in.. tell ya how it goes..
I know I'll hear shit for this but I bought a puma back in the day and its awesome. Its fast and doessnt get hot.Good ol AIM .Cmon lets hear it!
