does anyone know how much narrower a cab and chassis rear is compared to a regulay dually rear.

a std. rear is 55 3/4" from baking plate to b.p. and a c&c is real close to 44" so about 11 3/4"

wouldn't that be to narrow and make the wheels sit in to far? Oh yeah it is on 86 chevy with all days layin rocker.

no you shouldnt have to do anything to your rails.. your gunna have bout 1/2 or less clearance between the inside tire and the frame rail..

On the 86, I think you may have to mess with the rails a little but maybe not at all.

Chris on your truck you will definatley have to move the rails.

The rearend in my truck measures 44" from plate to plate and with all 4 wheels on the rear I have about 1" between the inner lip of the dually fender and the edge of the tire.

there are pics of it on here somewhere without the wheels. If I can clean the shop out a little I'll try and get some more up. I've made some headway on the chop top also but I dont think theres any pics of it yet. I cant get the damn wheels under it in the front yet either but I'll see what I can do.
