Just wondering what people think would be the better choice? I have always been a playstation fan but I bought a regular x-box a couple years ago and to me it appears to have better graphics on certain games. I'm looking to get either the new 360 or the ps3 but i'm not sure. Anybody know if the new consoles will play older games made for previous consoles? I have only seen a few screenshots for ps3 games, and i just watched some video of Gears of War for the 360 and it looks so sick. Does anybody know if the 360's still overheat or whatever problem they had last year?
I like Playstation over X-Box but that's is just me. I'm not sure if the PS3 will play older versions but I would get a PS3. How much are they selling for?
i'm not sure i've heard mixed prices...heard $499, and $399. Thats a lot but i'll sell my xbox and ps2 to pay for most of it
x box def... halo 3 will soon be released and everyone knows it will be game of the year so how are you not going to have the system that has game of the year
The prices are $499 and $599... too much money for me.
360's are awesome, great graphics and awesome features, and the overheating problem has been taken care of with the newer 360 models
as for the PS3 they are i think $599 and they are pretty much sold out on the release date, i checked ebay for them and people already have them on there for over $1200.
personally id get the nintendo Wii it has some sweet technology in it and its only $399 i think, and i dont play shooting games or anything so halo and other stuff isnt that big of a deal to me.
xbox 360 for sure they have an intercooler for 20 bucks.ps3 still uses dial up for online play wtf!gears of war is sweet(only for xbox).xbox can download demos and old school games.i heard ps3 doesnt give the option to hook up to hdtv and reg.xbox is a much better system and 200 bucks cheaper
Xbox 360 all the way bro. There has been so much bad press for the PS3 in a lot of gaming magazines.
Both systems are reverse compatable and will play the older games. I have an x-box 360 and haven't had any problems. I just bought Gears of war and it's a pretty sweet game, so is call of duty 3. If you want the cheapest available blu-ray player, get the ps3....but be prepared to either camp out for it on the release date or wait awhile. The selling price in canada is $650, not sure what it'll be in the U.S.

ps3 still uses dialup for online play? I use ethernet to connect on my ps2. I've never used dialup
