I need to vent....thats about it....

Any of yall ever have problems with basically losing your life because of your vehicle???? this past week ive lost my girlfriend of over 2 years which i had planned on marrying, my old friends are dropping off little by little, and right now i cant even function right......my answer to the reasons has basically been because of my obsession with messin with my truck.......anybody have any input, cause it really sucks?

Been there, Dude. You need to realize that (believe it or not) there are ALOT more important things than a vehicle!

I learned a little while ago to put things that are more important in my life before my truck. Luckily i didnt lose my girl! Alot of my friends arent into the minitruck stuff and thats all i wanted to do was be at home workin on my junk. needless to say those people didnt come around anymore because they didnt care about what i cared about.

Keep your head up and dont make your truck your priority in your life. There is ALOT more to life than a fuckin truck.

That really just depends on his goal for his truck. Everyone has a different reasons for their passions. If you want to be a famous singer you do everything you can to make it happen. If he wants to start his own custom business or something of that nature than I see nothing wrong with the "obsession". If you are not passionate about what you love to do, then you are probably not enjoying it to the fullest.

jance your right about that....i do want to start up a business.....but man ive taken a lot of crap for granted...my main concern in life in these past few months has been gettin ready for next show season and money to finish up the veheicle...now that i really sit and think about it...my girlfriend, or what was my girlfriend just wanted somthing to drive...she was always stressed cause she didnt have a car....and ive been stressed about puttin an extra 10 grand in my show truck which is barely used....im not meanin to sit here and gripe and wine, but really i felt like this is the only place i had left...and i had to let it out....Thanks guys

ya i broke up with my girlfriend of 5 years last month, alot of other crap has been happening too. (when it rains it pours) But sometimes your project will be the best way to take your mind off things. and think of it this way. you spend all your time and effort on your ride, then by summer you'll be lovein life again, your truck will be done (or close too) and enough time will pass to were you and your x can rekindal things, and if not, your truck will be a great ice-breaker for some new tang.

im sure a lot of guys will give you advice, i just say go to www.garagetease.com and im sure youll be in heaven! why should you have to change who you are for someone to stay with you, chances are if you gave up minitruckin shed start b*itching about something else. your better off without her.

Yeah listen.. you do what makes you happy..the thing about your truck is this.. girls come and go but your truck is never going to get pissed and leave you.. i tell all my girlfriends, its like this, i was doing it when i met you! i will be doing it when your gone..i also tell them this if you put a dollar in a jar for everytime you say that i care about my truck more than you then i would have enough money to finish it and we could all be happy..Well actually no because i soon become bored and have to start something else.. anyways minitruckin is a lifestyle.. you cant just change thats like a gay guy saying he isnt gay anymore.. it just doesnt happen..
