anybody know where to get a body peircing kit

i know alot of us on here are crazy ass mofos. well my piercer no longer peirces and so i wanna get some things done soon. so i figured id ask if anybody knows where to get a decent kit for a ok price. keep in mind ill probably us this thing 3-10 times at the max... lookin to do eyebrowls, lip etc etc

sup bro, mike dosnt do peircings anymore. hes dedicated to fulltime tattooing now.

id go to studio 66 but i know two people that werent very happy with the work they did and i seen the work in person n it didnt make me wanna jump in a chair there anytime soon.

also im getting ready to start streching my ears. any tips im currently at a 16gauge.

I dont know of anybody that makes a "kit" and I have been in the body jewelry business for a while. I can get you sterilized needles american or cannula needles(which are much better) but I dont know of anybody that sells sterilized jewelry...so you would have to find a way to autoclave it so it was safe. and you would need a new needle for each piercing. thay dull quick and sharp needles make better piercings and less pain.

well id only be using it on my self. so autoclave wouldnt be completly nessecary. as i have a lot of stuff around the house meant for anti bacterial.
betadine, alcohol, purell, plus we all know fire and heat kill just about everything not that id be concerned with my own germs...

besides needles from what ive seen on other sites are relativly cheap..both the
cannula and american.

i was just kinda hoping that sombody has a pre packaged set of needles, forceps and the cork or whatever else i might need besides antisepetic, jewelery and gloves..

i'm a certified piercer. coudnt make enough money in it so i got out. but listen to me on this on please. do not buy bme's shit...you get ripped off for not that great materials. Autoclave IS Neccesarry even if it is just yourself. so many things could be on the metals. just because it's antibacterial, doens't sterilize it. purell, alchohol, all that doesn't kill things. the cleaner needs to be a medical stength tubercocidal(spell?) to kill the major things. even then, aids and hep can still live. i wouldn't worry about my own germs either, but hepatitis can live on metal for a few months. if the person who made that jewelry had hep, you'd get it by inserting it into the fresh wound. so DO autoclave your shit. most needles come claved, but jewelry doesnt. be steril. it'll help. most tattoo shops will do it for you if you take a few items and toss them a few bucks. make sure you knwo you're anatomy. i DO NOT endorse self piercing, but if you want to do it, do it right. if you want a good place to get your stuff, go to painfulpleasures.com. i order most of my professional supplies when i was piercing there. you can get a lot of prepackaged. or for a few bones, unimax sells a fully packaged and pre setup kit for like 200 bucks that's good for about 8 piercings. unimaxsupply.com is the website i believe. IM me if you need any information. like i said, i'm certified, i apprenticed for about 2 years, i have more knowledge on this then i do cars. i'll be glad to help you out in any way i can just to make sure you get it done safe.

as for stretching your ears. one month per size, otherwise you'll blowout a lobe. i've been up to an inch. took me over a year and a half to get there from 10g. do not just jam jewelry in. taper them if you can. otherwise get some jewelry with slightly heavy beads. normally the heavy beads will have your ears ready for the next size by the end of the month. but they have a tendency to thin out your lobes at bigger sizes, so how big do you want to go? but reading through the replies again, your best bet is to buy the ready to go kit from unimaxsupply. they make good, strong, sharp needles. everything in the kit is autoclaved and sterile. so as long as you knwo what you're doing, the kit is ready for you.

dont go with unimax the needles are shit just do yourself a favor and have a certified shop do your piercings being sterile is very important you dont wanna get gonaherpacyfalitus or some shit like that you might be getting "new" jewelry but the underpaid guy in the 3rd world country that just got done scratching his ass & balls and then putting the jewelry in the packs

^^always the best idea. but Justin, what makes you say the unimax needles are shit? i've used a few. they're not the best, they're not durable, but they are a good value. i never trusted pre-autoclaved stuff so i always re-claved everything. but the packs they came in were dated right and the text on the back was the right color. i've used them when i was apprenticing and had no problem.

k apperciate the advice guys.. however theres only two shops in my town i consider slightly legit besides my usual shop that stopped peircing all togethger.

and ive heard bad things from both shops. from customers, people who went to check shit out and seen some of the work done.

peircings done by one shop werent done correctly on the eyebrowl you have to put them at a slight angel towards the ear. like this / all ive seen is straight up and down which causes migration and peircings that werent placed deeply enough

i think if i remember right hep anything can obly live 72hrs without its host... ill double check..
