last feburary i picked up a Pro-tools model 105 tubing bender and it works great.. but i paid 880 in the end.. got the bender,1.5in diex 210degrees, stand, degree wheel and it works great. Its the Heavy duty one so i can add a hydraulic ram to it later on if i get real serious with it ..http://www.pro-tools.com/105.htm

really good bender.. i'm getting a jd3, the only killer are the dies.. they are like 150 bucks a set.. they sell 3.5, 4, 5, 6" diameters in any tube size.. bender is 300 plus dies, but comes with a stand, degree wheel, etc.. this is for the manual mandral bender.. cris has it and says its not hard to bend by hand with it.

I bought one a few months ago and havent had time to build the stand yet. But I dont make dumb purchases, I bought it on recomendation of about 1000 minitruck, 4x4, and hot rod guys.

Its not cheap, but it is nice and you can get dies for anything, like the model 105 from pro tools you can get different dies for pipe or tubing.

you gotta watch on alot of those cheap ones. they are mostly for pipe... not tube

I have a friend with a JD2 bender, works great bending up bridges and roll cages etc. Never bent exhaust with it though, does anyone know if it will or have any of you bent exhaust tubing with it before and with what kind of results if any?
