Is it Stock floored or traditional? What crossmember? On my tranny crossmember I made mine go under the exhast so that I could remove it if I ever had to pull the tranny. This way the exhaust will not be in the way.
I hope this helps man. Mine is traditional body dropped so room isn't too much of an issue. I'm also running 2.5" dual exhaust with 40 series flows. They dump out of turn downs just past the cab.

its not really stock floor or traditional..I built a new frame from 3x3..and a new cab floor of 1x1..so theres more room in the cab than a factory truck..but theres less room under the cab..only 3.5 overall height..

Working with about 4" of space under the floor.
It could be built out of 1x2 tubing to save more room, and possibly notched over the exhaust.

^ lol thats good shit... I just made mine out of 2x3 like the frame and notched 2" out of the top for the exhaust then welded round fillers back in. If youve got room for the pipes with some air space between the floor then the x member wont be a problem to figure out.
