one wire alternator?

what exactly are the advantages and disadvatages of getting a one wire alternator?is there any reason why i should not get one?

advantage, only 1 wire! no other wires to b/s with. u just run 1 wire from the batt to the alt.

Yep..cleanliness is the advantage. I Went with one on mine that so I had instead of 3 or 4. Looks a lot better, plus you can find them in any Amperage and almost any finish.

I just picked up a GM 100amp for 80 bucks from a local battery shop. It'll be nice to replace the crappy 30 amp Mazda one.
