i kinda doubt the pinched fuel line... it'd run for a while after being pinched i would think... definitely look at electrical connections though... its stock fuel injection?

yes. i know what normally to look for under these kinda circumstances (a truck dying) but just thought it was weird being that it only happened when i turned left.

do instruments and lights and all go dead like the key is off or just engine dying?

im not sure jmn444, it always dies when im driving and turning left so im in a rush just to get it cranked again so i dont hit something or get hit. but id imagine the gauge cluster dies too.

check the battery cable, unlike every other kind of truck in the freaking known world, S10's wont run with the battery disconnected. Mine had this problem, died on big bumps and wouldnt come back till I wiggled the battery terminal, and so I trimmed the rubber boot over the treminal to allow it to get better bite on the battery posts and havent had a problem since.
Stupid ass GM trucks, I am begining to realize why I resisted owning one for so long. Did you know the SES light comes on and doesnt self reset for something as stupid as a momentary drop in catalyst efficiency? So when I accidentally lug the engine away from a stoplight "blink" and its on and wont shut off till I put a code reader on it. Yes I know about OBDII but my 98 BMW resets the freaking light if the code is a one time thing, I went through high water recently and got a misfire, the check engine shut off the next day. /rant

Heres what im thinking... you have a block of wires there in the drivers front wheel well up on the firewall. Check that...make sure the bolt is tight and so on...
