I never had a problem with me PS2 skipping. The one thing that got old was having to start over everytime you kill the power and turn it back on. If you were in the middle of a movie and stopped at the store and shut the truck off , when you turn it back on you would have to hit reset on the PS2 and find the chapter you left off at.

run a dedicated power source.. Poof... problem solved

My boy had a PS2 in his caddy and never had a problem with skipping or anything. When I had my XBOX in my truck it was sitting right on top of my box with 4 Kicker L7 10's and never skipped a bit.

I have had my PS2 in the dash for years with no trouble. playing driving games while on the expressway is great you can feel the car and you can see the cars going by....fun sh*t

sweet, thanks for the stories, guys. i'm probably going to go that route, since i already have the stuff (and if i don't, what am i going to do with the huge hole where the pass. airbag was), but i hear they'd skip on the road. thanks for proving the naysayers wrong, lol.
