And answer me this, can you play games/watch movies while driving? Or does it bounce around too much and skip? I already have a ps2 and monitor to put in, but if you can't use it while on the road, i'll just get an in dash dvd w/monitor. Please let me know, if the wife has to go to another show without me being able to put a movie in to shut her up, she's gonna end up on the side of the road somewhere. Please help me out with this.

i think your best bet will be the indash dvd/tv combo cuz you could still add your ps2 to it if you still wanted to play games. reason for this is the dvd player in the indash should have a better antishock then the ps2 so it wouldnt skip...

thanks, james, i knew i could count on you! I have an indash dvd/monitor in my work car (best $600 i ever spent since i drive about 1500 miles a week) and i love it. That's why i was thinking about getting one for the dime and selling the ps2 and monitor on ebay or something. Or if anyone wants to trade an indash dvd/monitor for my ps2 and 7" visor mount monitor, holla! I can throw in some cash if needed.

I used to have my PS2 mounted in my sub box (before some asshole stole my screens). I never had a problem with skips or anything even when the system was turned up.

i had a ps2 in mine wen i had interior in it..mine wa sittin on the floor just under the middle front seat..never had any probs with skipping or gettin hot.. worked just fine

i had mine next to my box for about a year and aslong as the discs were clean i hade zero problems

Yeah, Never had any problems with the PS2 skipping...the real hot setup though is a modded xbox with a 200 gig hard drive...almost unlimited songs and movies stored on the hard drive!! Thats how I roll now!!

I never had a problem with me PS2 skipping. The one thing that got old was having to start over everytime you kill the power and turn it back on. If you were in the middle of a movie and stopped at the store and shut the truck off , when you turn it back on you would have to hit reset on the PS2 and find the chapter you left off at.

my was just setting behind my pass. seat in my xtreme and never had a problem with it and i took it and mounted it where my glove box was cause it fit perfectly in the hole kindof had to beat it in but it soild and wont move, but im fixing to move it again lol but mines been in there for over a year and never had a problem with it skipping or anything
