DEFINATELY REMOVE THE TORSION BARS. U CAN GET THE CORRECT BAG PLATES FROM JASON @ SUICIDE DOORS. ALSO IF U DONT WANT TO LAY OUT THEN KEEPING THE SWAY BAR IS A OPTION. ALTHOUGH I WOULD JUST DITCH IT. OTHER THAN THAT U HAVE TO BE ABLE TO WELD AND DO SUM FABRICATING.

I am planning on laying out, either on 18s or 18/20 combo

and I know about cutting out the shock tower and I am clear on how to flip the balljoints around

unbolt the rear of the torsion bars and use a hammer to knock them out i recommend ditching the sway bar and triming the inside of the lower so it will lay
what size wheels are you running?

its on stocks right now, probably going on 18x7.5s

so what do I have to trim off the lower to get it to lay?
and what about the brackets the sway bar and torsion bars bolt to?

remove torsion, and any thing related to the sway bar. if you arent running drop spindles then you will have to notch the lower control arm where it wraps around the crossmember it bolts to. it will bottom out before it wil lay. cut into the bumpstop mount until you get to the actual frame rail and weld the bag mount to there. you i highly recommend drop spindles but you dont need them, and if you decide to get them wait until you get bigger wheels, cause they wont work with the stock 14's. they work with pathfinders and most gmc wheels without modification to the tie rod.

Sorry, I don't have any pics, but you trim the inside of the arm were it smacks the frame. once you get the shock tower out, bolt the controll arms and the spindel back on and jack it up. The LCA should hit the frame. that's were you trim. I recomend welding some gussets back on the control arm but it's not neccassary. as far as the sway bar brackets, i think so beacuse it gets in the way of the mag. And What torsion bar braket are talking about? the one under the cab?Because the one on the LCA the bolts the LCA to your crossmember.
