Are you going to check each diode before shipping them out to make sure you don't have a faulty one or just send them a new pack if they get a bad one? I've had a few faulty ones before and just messed up everything. I've done what your doing for some people in town and made a couple bucks on it.

I check everything before I ship it, I have had a couple offers from companies to build my Pressuryte and package it but I won't do it for that simple reason, I want to check everything myself. In this small industry our name is all we have and once it's no good it's NO GOOD, that's the last thing I want.

Diode array? The only problem I see is the current requirements. I tried to get people to use negative trigger for switches a few years ago instead of 12v+ and they looked at me like my head was made of dog poop haha.
I've used diodes before with good results. My friend had a 64 impala on hydraulics and wanted something cool so I built him a diode array to use switches like you are suggesting, but I also went a further step and programmed a Motorola IC chip with an ancient Timex computer to execute timed "moves". This was before I knew much about transistors so I used small relays to step up the current to energize the dumps and solenoids. It was really complex, but it would clear state (a fancy term for getting into a starting position) the see/saw or three wheel by clicking one momentary switch, and would clear state again after each move. I could probably make it fit in a pack of cigarettes now that I have studied transistors.

jay what you are doing is a cool idea for people you just need to explain it more simplified. i know what you are doing and a couple of others do but most dont. i think people would go for it if they knew what they did. good luck man!

I will agree that I am the worst at explaining things like this to people. I think I actually loose sales because I go to deep into explaining the pressuryte unit. I'm not a very good salesman and I'm glad I'm not, all good salesmen are a bit on the shady side, lol.
