s-10 fuel cell

putting a fuel cell in my dime, tired of putting holes in the factory from dragging. how deep to make a fuel cell for the sending unit to work.

the pump and sending unit are on springs, my tank is two inches shallower than the stock pile, not used it yet but this gas benn done a bunch.

are u tryn to mount the stock pump into a fuelcell, this one is a 16 alluminum cell from summit and i had a piece machined to where i could mount the pump in the cell and welded it on, the pump colapes enough to where it will work perfect. if u dont wnt to do this u can buy cell with senders already in them and wire them up to the gauge.

IM TRYING TO USE THE STOCK. . JUST NEEDED TO KNOW HOW DEEP TO MAKE IT SO I CAN START IT WITH OUT TAKING IT OFF,(EVERYDAY DRIVER).
