what are the pro's and con's of the ART roadgraters? planning on doing a full backhalf, 4 link, bag on link, etc later. but i bought my sonoma with one. i like how it rides. seems pretty nice. just wondering what the advantages/disadvantages are to it, since basically everything has them.

good friend of mine has one on his S10, i think the main pro is that the kit is all bolt on which is helpful for people who lack welding skills, but your beyond that point since its already installed. IMO its a nice kit, rides good, though with the bags mounted right by the axle it doesnt get quite as much lift as if you were to build a setup with a different bag ratio

yeah, it's obviously not the best system. i will be back halfing it later on. true cantilever and everything. but it's gonna get me by for now. i got a few things to redo and finish on it. just spent a couple hours on it playing with it trying to get done what i could. I honestly don't need anymore lift then it gives me. but does anyone else have the problem with the lower arms twisting?

Well since the kit was designed for big wheels if you run a small wheel just make a spacer to go under the bag and get longer shocks. Then you'll get proper lift. If you keep everything stock and run a 25" diameter tire, for example, then you'll get shit for lift.

All in all it's not a bad kit and the sleeved bags give you an awesome ride.

It's a great handling kit. It does what it was designed to do. Lay out on 20's and ride good. It gets you up to a decent enough height to get a jack under.
