Alarm pad air ride control?

Ive seen someone push the arm button on their alarm pad and it layed the truck out. Dissarm lifted it to ride height. I really want to do this, is their a certain alarm company that makes this setup? Or can any alarm be wired into your air? and does it still arm and dissarm your truck?

Nobody knows eh? Guess ill play with some wires until it works... or burns my car down lol. I suppose I would just splice into the wires for my door locks and configure them into my air.. that wouldnt be so hard, figuring out how to get it to lock at a certain psi.. might take a couple hours.

its just a channel on the alarm wired to a switch. it can be done to any alarm with at least keless entry. all you got to do is hook up relay to the switch. you wire it up just like a door popper on an alarm would be wired. it can be on its own chanel or tapped into your unlock wire. probably like 20 bucks in parts. labor who knows. i was gunna do it to the geo if i ever juice it. fun way to scare people.=)

Easy to do, like crochface said. Mine isn't hooked to an alarm, but I have a 16 channel remote box w/ my doors and bags wired thru it. Mine is set up w/ front/back - up & down. Definately a cool little mod that doesnt cost much money at all.

wouldnt u hafta have the electronic ride control box so u can preset the height at which it will raise to when the truck is disarmed. also, if it lays out, does it just full on dump or is there some control? i was looking to do something similar a couple years ago, but i was told u need to have an electrinic system that has ride height presets to do it?

it can be done with or without the air ride piece. using the air ride piece would probably be easier, but it can be done using the auxillary outputs on the alarm and a few relays. use the aux output to trigger the relays. the aux outputs usually stay activated for one and a half seconds so it will not air to the exact pressure that you want.

I do every air setup with a remote, either from an existing alarm or an added one from auto loc. Give me a call and I will tell you how to do it. 253-332-8290

i assume you just program the alarm to tell it how many seconds you want it to hold down the pulse.
