cordless drills

there are some new lithium bosch drills out there that are more powerful than any other out there and they are the smallest ones thet I know of they are the shit and come with two batteries and a charger for around $135 I think for a 90 angle one they also have a swivle head one for a bit more, they are chuckless, but are the coolest drills ever

I saw those in todays Lowes ad. Reminds me of the old installer days when every one of us had the same breakover Milwaulkee rechargable to take dashes apart. Glad to know these new ones are a good screw gun too. Thanks.

this one is a hitachi 3.6 lithium, not bosch.

79 bucks though, thats a pretty good deal for a breakover screwdriver. Those old milwaulkees used to cost about double that back in 1992.

I have used DeWalt 14.4 for about 15 years. I install Kitchens for a living, and use the living crap out of theese drills. The 12 volts DW's are also good, and can be found on sale for about 100-120 bucks. Another good drill is the Panasonic 12 volt. Our Cabinet shop uses theese drills, and they last forever. I have had Craftsman drills, and don't like them at all. Had problems from day 1 with tthem.Also, stay FAR away from any Ryobi cordless drill, they are total P.O.S.'s.

I work at SEARS selling tools......Craftman cordless drills......FUCKING JUNK. theyre crap. any drill made within the past 4-5 years is not going to last you. the 19.2 is alright due to the choice of add on tools that that use the same battery. we carry an entire line or tools designed for that battery, but in the end....still junk. Spend the extra 15% on the 2 year replacement warranty on any drill you get from Sears...its worth it. If it breaks within 2 years...well replace it. Craftsman drills are made by Ryobi......hence the reason they suck.

My advice....look into the Bosch Drills. DeWalt is also up there along with Milwaulkee. Do yourself a favor and buy something good the first time. If youre still set on buying a cheaper priced drill.....wait until your local Sears gets the new 20.0 Volt Lithium battery powerd drills in. They last longer, dont, over charge and take more charges over all

i just got back from the depot, got a 12v rigid drill for 120 bucks, lifetime warranty on the chuck, batteries, brushes, etc, and a 2 year warranty on the whole shabang......

yeah those rigid drills were pretty good. i had a dewalt xrp and then a milwaukee when i did HVAC work. a buddy of mine had a rigid 12v and never had a problem out of it. he was really rough on his tools too.

we just started using HILTI drills at the shop and holy shit are they ever nice. They weigh alot but are packing alot of power. They also refresh the battery pack every month to keep the plates even in the battery to make it last longer.

yeah we used to use hilti load guns alot. they were really heavy, but did a damn good job. our hilti rep that came out every couple of weeks was awesome.
