ranger front suspention
ok i'm work'n on a ranger and the front arms that hold the i beams (dont know wat there called the bushing and mount have been drug almost all the way off. so i'm wondering if i should just get new bushings and make a mount and move it higher up on the frame or could i build some sort of link system for it? just ask'n around to see if theres a better way to save me some head scratch'n thnx guys
sound's like the radius arms.they sell a reloctor kit for them.s.d.,fbi.s.s. customs, i know all have them. there around 100 to 150 to get em.

yeah, just get a new radius arm crossmember from like sd.com or somewhere. i don't know much about i-beam trucks but apparently it's pretty common. sd.com's crossmember / fbi's
ya you can also put your bags on the radius arms and get ALOOOOOOT of lift
could probably untuck a 22" wheel that way
yea its got the suicide doors kit on it but the kid drug through it and theres onlly a tiny pice of metal left so gotta do something else this kid does some hella dragg'n
yeah... if you can save the brackets... just weld them about 1/2" higher. or buy new ones and do it or do a link system...
sounds to me like the bottom of the frame would be drug off before that happened.
are you sure it has the sd crossmember on it? other rangers i've seen, it's flush. so for him to have dragged through it, it was either mounted wrong or it's into the frame and that's gonna start a whole nother headache with it.
both of yall are exactly right the kid has drug about and inch of frame away from the bottom of the ranger i've already boxed that back in so its ok but do anyone have pics of the link system stuff?? thats wat i'd like to do
ive seen one ranger with a link setup in the front instead of radius arms. idk if its on ssm or not though. ill see if i can find any pics.
I'm gonna find the thread if the search dosen't oops me
