whats up everyone im a senior in high school and im looking into school for the auto field NADC is going to give me some diffrent scholarships to go to their school but i really wanted some opions about the school before i made any choices.
dont go there, I thought it would be pretty good looking at their brochures, If you do decide to go there, take a tour of the school first, you will find that it is in the ghetto and the shops are shitty. However there are a select few badass instuctors there. When I went Jason Bullock was an instructor there, but he quit right after I graduated.
NEVER BEEN BUT HEARD SOME GOOD STUFF ABOUT WYOTECH ????
Me and a few of my buddies went down there a couple years ago to tour, and i will agree it is in the ghetto...it didnt seem very appealing to me after i had toured...unless u get to the high performance stuff...the rest is kind of a waste i think, again just my opinion though....I had a couple other friends that went through the diesel side of it, and i dont think they were very big on it.....
yeah, don't get me wrong the high performance fab. course is kick ass, and those are some of the best instructors, but the rest is a waste, now If they would just let you take the hi-po class it would deff. be worth it
i went to nadc back in 04, and yeah the school is in the ghetto, but its what u make of the experience. they go a lil more in depth than ur local community college would but then again ur paying 5times the money. if i had a chance to do it over again i would probally do the community college thing cause 75% of the stuff u learn out in the field. but the hiperformance was pretty bad ass.
yeah, thats when I went too
i went down there on a tour back in july. it sort of looked cool but i decided not to go and they wont refund my 100 dollar application fee. assholes lol. if ur really wanting to go to one id really check out wyotech. it has a really good name. everyone knows them and eve some of the students hot shows on spike. its a little more costly but id go if i could.
I know some guys who went through the Diesel part and I don't think they learned anything. They still bring their trucks to our shop to be worked on. One uf the guys didn't even know how to put on an exhaust kit. I wish I had went to a school to do paint and auto-body instead of college.
i graduated from wyotech last year took auto and asm its not something i would've expected to pay 22k for... i'd say comunity college or bust!
