i bought a new head to day on a auction, for a price i couldnt pass up.
i waz told it waz for a 1987 b2200
and i would like to put it on my 89 b2200.
on the side of it, it has i believe it waz F somethin dash 8. i dont remember off hand i will look tomarrow to make sure.
so will it fit??

The only difference I know if is the casting might be a bit rougher, other than that I have never found any difference between that head and any other 8 valve head that will bolt on.

It is the same the only thing that may be different is the casting number but they all bolt on and work fine up until 91 or 92 I believe.

all years of heads interchange. Order the head gasket for the right year head though, there is only one difference in one small oil passage for the rockers, trucks with HLA's have a metal seal on the head gasket for the passage.
