You should shortnen the truck and bring the back wheels closer to the cab and make a 2 foot bed type box off the cab. You could hide things in the "bed box" if you wanted too...

minus the " box " thats what i was thinkin , shorting the frame to bring the wheels closer to the back of the cab

most likely ill bring the rear wheels closer, but not so close that i have to tub the rear fire wall. i noticed the farther away the rear wheels are the more it looks like it needs a bed. so i dont want it to look like its missing a bed.

as for the box idea. ill pass. i got tons of ideas to hide everything even if i have to make things smaller than usual, (ex. gas tank) its not like im gunna make long road trips. but im pretty sure i can make this street legal, (at least in arizona) im guna build it following the same rules as a hot rod. build it more like a toy. they can role fenderless. and there will be all the nessisary parts. headlights tail lights, just hidden. plate through the rear window. everything a bike or hot rod would need to drive around.

there have been a lot of people with very similar ideas. I was in the process of building one very similar to the drawing, Mikey from Palm Coast had a few sketches in his sketch book from a long time ago, SD, and others... Nick was just the first one to put it down and on a computer screen.. so i guess even if i do finish my truck it will be compared to his drawing. I still think the drawing looks and can't wait to see it done. I think it would get picked up as kind of a fad thing.. not over done.. but just like the "ratrod" (i hate that term) was picked up and everyone was running flat black for the past 2 years will realize how shitty their bed is and will hop on the next band waggon. Only time will tell.Mike

thats y i started this forum...i do believe that this could be the next thing...the big wheels craze, while some people hate it, does have a limit if fenders r on...this gives them freedom to be on 26z, or 28z and lay body...i also wanted to say that nick crouch should not abandon the idea if it becomes a fad because thats whats wrong right now with people buildin trucks...they r all tryin to be the 1st this and first that...and it should be about quality, not about rushin to be the 1st to do something...quality and originality when it comes to mods and paint, thats what will set ur ride apart from the rest and make it a vechile to remember rather than to be the 1st and be forgotten...ANALOGY_COMPARSION= was Elvis the first singer ever? i dont think so...but he did it well or did somethin right to be remembered....

I have been looking at the rendering for a few minutes now and what comes to my mind is a fenderless '34 Ford Pickup:



I would put a bed on it similar to the '34 ford and I think something needs to be fabbed out for a nose piece... talkin' about old school flavor on a new school ride... I'm diggin' it...

you need to get rid of that steering box and install a remote unit or a front wheel drive setup so its tight to the firewall. Other than that sweet idea hope it works out
