i am bout to get a 1st gen dime and wont to know what all i need to get to make it lay frame...

spindles for the front, some kinda link setup in the back with notch

basically the same stuff you used for your newer s dime....except you wont need the driveshaft crossmember

and move the links up in the frame or u will drag them and that is not fun when thay come apart

1st gens are different in a sense.

if you wanna lay on anything bigger then a 205/50/15 23.06 inches tall, you gotta cut the LCA's humps out and do something with the blower motor b/c you will hit it. you have to remove the inners on that size of tire too.

its nothing like the 2nd gens on clearence where you can lay an 18 with a smaller tire with inners in.

my blazer layed with 18's and inner fenders.I think blazers are mounted higher on the frame tho. i think*

mine was laying frame on 205/50/15's and it would not lay with the inners in, i could keep the washer bottle, overflow and battery, just not the actual inners, it rubbed on the inside part where it dips down too low.

also i'll dig it up, but i got ap ic of my fender off and my truck laid out with the blower motor off, u can tell there aint no room.
