In that pic you can barely see the location of where it mounts on the car & its just to the left of the bottom of the Tire. I was planning on running a dual pivot point. Im no suspension expert so im glad to have you guys suggesting things to me. I see what yall are saying & i didn't really even consider that. Now i just gotta figure out what to do & how to do it

Got in today from Colorado at around 4:30 PMish & got to work on the neon. I finished welding the circle bag plates to the rails & then i cleaned them up nice & smooth! I took measurements for the pivot bars & decided to run dual round bars. Im gonna drill holes through the rails so the bars can sink down inside them for added strength when i weld them up. I also plan on gussetting them & the bag plates too. I also still need to cut the round bars down to size, so don't think thats how tall they will be lol

got some more stuff in the mail so i did more work. I got my bushings, round bar, & my bags. First i drilled a 1 1/8" hole on the rails of the cantilever. then i flipped it over & drilled a 3/4" hole on the other side in the same spot. then i cut some solid round bar to about 7 1/2" so that way i could slide the bar down in the hole for added strength. I welded in the bar & i also welded on the bushings. I still need to finish gusseting it, but i did cross brace it. I also started gusseting the bag plates. My Heim Joints came in that will be mounted to my upper bag mounts, 2 for each upper plate. You can see a pic of how that looks in the last pic.

17s for now, might upgrade to 18s later on. i don't wanna run a 19 or 20 cause i dought i will have clearance in the front. 18s might be pushing it

http://www.AirRidePro.com made my custom upper strut mounts for me & they made my bung that will mount the plate to my bag plate. The reason i had them make it is cause i couldn't find a bearing i thought would work with my McPherson strut style. That means my struts turn with the wheels. They did a bad ass job & also make camber plates so if anyone needs any, hit them up.
