Can I use these Controls/Filters on Air Cylinders?

Hey all,I've got some air cylinders and need to slow down the raise/lower.... I wanted to know, if I put these:http://store.gaugemagazine.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=3821

on the lower ports of the cylinders, would these slow them down a LOT or not at all? Gauge has no idea if they would even work if I put them on the bottom ports... so thats why i'm here.

-put them in ur dump valves better..they might work on the lower port if not u can always put them on da valves

i dont know about putting them on the bottom port of your cylinders but i know u can put them on your dump valves. ive got some on my dump valves and there adjustable like the ones your lookin at gettin, i have to have em cuz ive got 1/2 dumps on my truck so without them it slams down so hard it feel like its gunna shoot my motor through the hood.
