Figured it would be pretty tough to make them from a flat peice of sheet metal....

he is good with metal, maybe he got some solid stock and used a grinder then metalfinished it?

Im sure he did them on a lathe, thats realy the only way to make a perfectly symmetrical spike. I would offset the tailstock and cut it like a taper but to a point.

its a sonoma its fuckin bad ass they have been working on it at the little shop for a long time now.
