fuel injector setup was replaced a yr or so ago the guy said.
egr valve isnt stuck.. i've pulled it out, valve still moves.

let me add...
when it first died.. got it home, moved the dizzy after being told timing.. could get it start, but would rev up and down a few times and die.. ran if i kept my foot on the gas.
that was with dizzy 180 out.
now wont start at all with everything in line.. fuckin blazer.
anyone wanna trade blazer for fullsize? jk

just for adding the tps should not be at 5 volts or ever be 0 volts. when its close to 5 volts its when you have WOT, lower voltage is when throttle plate is closed. but with your last comment there that u been messing around with the timming i would say go back and make sure ur disributer is in the right spot. just make sure #1 cyl is at TDC and that distributer is on first cyl. also make sure its combustion stroke not exhaust or ull be 180 degrees off.

the distributor has been turned around so its firing and starting, but it cant find an idle and dies.
replaced both IAC and TPS
TPS voltaeg is still low. another site gave me the listed volts each wire should be, i'm getting 2 for dr blu and black and 2 volts for grey which should be in the 5 range with key on.

also advancing or retarding, it wont run any better then shit, so i'm thinking i'm a tooth or 2 off.. but i'll settle that when it stops stalling.
i can get it to start, idle for a min, then 20 seconds later, as it starts to go through the sensors, it stalls and dies.

so hold on, you say if u advance or retard the timming then it will run. but run ruff?
so are u sure when u placed ur distibuter back in that u arnt a tooth off? or maybe even a tooth off on timming chain when u replaced it. cause the way your describing now definatly sounds like a timming issue that wasnt lined up properly

the timing chain is like half a tooth, if that. my stepdad who has worked on cars his whole life said it was fine like that.
as for the distributor, i am thinking its a tooth or 2 out, i've thought that since i started.. b/c i pulled it out at say 9 o clock and wiggled it and while wiggling it, i think it turned the shaft some, b/c it wouldnt go back down until i hit 4 oclock. i had it 180 out by mistake the first time, it would crank but not start.. so i flipped it.. it starts and will idle, but after 5-10 seconds, it falls and dies.
my TPS has 3 wires.. only one of them is getting voltage, and its 3 volts less then it should be. the other 2 should be getting some too, but arent. another forum is having me test the 2 things they plug into, to see if another sensor being out or stuck open is drawing my current down, making it run like shit.
i am doing and checking all that everyone tells me to. it is my daily and i appreciate any and all help. it sucks bumming rides to work b/c your truck is getting sfbd on 20's and your daily is a POS.
