my buddy is trying to get the front end of his s-10 on the ground he took out his heat and all that crap and his inner fender wells it went another 1/2" down now his stock lower arms are hitting the pockets on the crossmember is he better off getting nw a arms or can he cut more out of his pocket with out losing alot of structure? thanks for any help mike...

what size wheel and tire is he running?

for the lca's, you need to pull them, on both sides are 'humps' that is what is hitting, cut it all flat and replate it.

you will need to make sure you have the right sized cups.. if you didnt use SD's cups, then you will prob have to cut yours down to fit if they are pretty tall upper.. you will need to cut the control arm like i said up there and possibly notch the frame and replate it for the arm to travel even further. you will need to realign your balljoin on the uppers or get tubulars, you will also be tubbing your firewall like you would to lay frame on 20's, moving the wiring harness on the drivers side and the clutch slave if its 5 speed, you might need a new booster too if yours is the bigger 11" booster. .. i'd say get a 215/40/18 tire..

the tire your friend has now is the same size as a 235/35/20..
