K im going to make it short and simple. I have 3 color leds and the problem is my running lights and my brake lights were origionally seperate bulbs Now with the leds they are on one section of the led strip both running and brake. So the question is how do i make it to where the running lights are dim and when i hit the brake it gets bright. Is there some kind of voltage regulator i can put on the running light wire, to regulate it where i hit the brake and it gets full power?

Please help i need this before the weekend.

I don't have the tri-color leds but on mine it has two functions for stop and running. My truck was only setup for single function on the same bulb for stop, signal and running. I had to run a new wire and make a fuse for it just so it would work properly. Doing that allowed the other function to work like it should. I hope that made sence? It's been awhile since I did it...

there should be a few wires on your truck and you just have to go through them and figure out what is which.. the brake light goes through the turn signal to let your know

I got the wires completely figured out the problem is with the running light and the break light being seperat then combining them it is creating the problem. I had it wired to where it worked correctly for a few months then my blinker switch went bad maby cause of the power from my running lights back tracking threw the break/signal lights.

my led's just had a black and red wire on the back and just wired up 2 relays that had 6 wires and all had to be spliced to that but i dont have reverse just running brake and signal solid red LED, just had to go through the stock wiring harness and figure out what wires did what than to the relay figure it out by touching wires.

you may need a set of 4 wire modules..we have them check them on on the site

Hmm. Not alot of help but thanks. I never had the problem with the signal blinking faster or slower though. Im just trying to seperate the signal from the break and combine the Break and the running.

If you wire the running lights and brakes to the same wires on your LEDs, it'll work great until your lights are on and you hit the brakes, at which point you'll cause a short and either blow a fuse, melt a wire, or damage a switch! We sell a computer module that separates these circuits from each other and gives you a single output for the LED. Your running lights will operate at about 3/4 brightness, and the brakes will be full brightness, so people can tell when you hit the brakes when your lights are on. They also have another circuit open for turn signals, but you won't use it since you have tri-circuit lights.Member price on the TAC units is $39.95 for a pair:http://www.fbirides.com/product.asp?idno=8452

Hope that helps!
